Since 2004, the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes has provided disabled American veterans from Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and New Dawn with millions of dollars worth of Emergency Financial Aid and support services.
The Coalition receives daily calls and applications from disabled servicemen and women facing financial crises. After a severe injury, wounded veterans are not only having to rebuild a new way of life in so many unexpected ways, but their families are experiencing real hardships while waiting for their benefits.
The Coalition has developed numerous programs to assist disabled veterans and their spouse/caregiver recover, rebuild and reconnect with others facing the same challenges. The Veteran Circle Membership (VC) is one way we have been able to help with peer support.
The American Veterans Center Warrior Experience and American Valor Honors program is a major event being held in Washington DC October 25-27 Three heroes connected to the Coalition will be participating and will be honored. . Shilo Harris is receiving an award at the American Valor dinner. Coalition President and CEO David Walker will also be on hand during the event to assist.
