The 2022 Heroes Freedom Retreat took in historic Williamsburg, Virginia. This multi-day marriage enrichment retreat for combat-wounded veteran couples was a huge success! The primary goal is to strengthen the bonds of marriage for couples who have so much additional stress in their lives due to physical and mental wounds from war.
A BIG Thank you to Dr. Parker and Lezlyn Parker for leading this valuable program which included an intensive series of workshops and interactive sessions focused on strengthening the bonds of marriage, tours of historic sites and connecting with other veteran couples. As a result, participants will be better equipped to resolve conflict, communicate with their spouse and also communicate their feelings.
