The Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes (Coalition), a leading non-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding the lives of severely wounded veterans of the War on Terror, today presented a $4,980 grant to the Arizona Coalition to End Homelessness (AZCEH), specifically to support the group’s initiatives to provide housing for homeless veterans.
“We believe it is a national disgrace that so many of America’s brave men and women are returning from the War on Terror, often severely injured, without the resources necessary to support themselves and their young families,” said David Walker, President & CEO of the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes. “Our donation to AZCEH will go directly to meeting the needs of wounded veterans throughout Arizona that deserve so much more from us than homelessness.”
