Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes Named Among ‘2022 Best Non-Profits To Work For’
Veterans group among Top 5 of 50 ranked organizations in national survey
LEESBURG, Va. (April 5, 2022) – The Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes(Coalition), a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding the lives of severely wounded veterans of the global War on Terror, has been selected as one of the 2022Best Non-Profits to Work For.The NonProfit Times, the leading national business publication for nonprofit managers,has partnered with Best Companies Group to identify nonprofit organizations where leaders have excelled in creating quality workplaces.
The Coalition ranked 5thoverall among the 50 organizations to make the prestigious list, and was the top-ranked veterans-service organization.

The survey and awards program are designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in the nonprofit industry, benefiting the industry’s economy, workforce and businesses. To be considered for participation, organizations had to fulfill several eligibility requirements, including 501(c)(3) status and having a minimum of 15 U.S. employees.
Nonprofits from across the United States entered the two-part survey process to determine Best Nonprofits to Work For. The first part – roughly 25% of the total evaluation – consisted of evaluating each nominated organization’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics.
The second part (75% of the total evaluation) consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top nonprofits and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data and determined the ranking.

Its innovative Heroes Thanking Heroes program provides transitional, part-time, flexible employment to nearly 50 combat-wounded veterans or their primary caregivers, enabling them to make phone calls from their homes, usually to personally thank donors for their contributions to the Coalition.
